PHA Media was recently hired to handle a take over that will affect millions of hospital patients across the UK. Newly formed company, Hospedia, have acquired troubled bedside entertainment giants Patientline as part of a deal that should see huge improvements across the NHS.
Aware of the negative publicity the Patientline service had received in recent years, PHA Media’s strategy was simply to highlight the many positive changes that the takeover signified, not just for patients, but for nurses too. The strategy resulted in a wave of positive messages across national, local and trade press.
PHA Media also took into account the affect their announcement would have on Patientline staff and created a Hospedia video podcast, reassuring and reaching the staff with the positive message of the future of hospital bedside entertainment systems.
