Client Objective

  • Raise awareness of the charity’s battle with The X Factor
  • Garner public support for the charity as they took on the show
  • Put pressure on the show to change the name of the girl band

  • Worked closely with the charity’s solicitors to ensure a strategic, on message campaign
  • Set up interviews with the CEO and Strategic Director in across the media including: BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat, Five News, BBC South East, The Times and The Guardian

  • Raised the charity’s profile
  • 3 weeks into the campaign, the X Factor bowed to the pressure and changed the name of the group to ‘Little Mix’
