Leading London Preparatory School, Thomas’s Clapham, held a day in celebration of Paralympic achievement on Wednesday 25^thApril 2012.

The school arranged for Steve Brown, captain of the GB wheelchair rugby team to speak to pupils, who then handed over a giant good luck card and cheque in support of the British Paralympic Association.

The saucy stunt caused quite a stir amongst London commuters and workmen going about their usual daily business as the Ann Summers gang strutted confidently towards the newly designed Wardour Street store in the brand’s latest lingerie sets.

The Wardour Street store underwent the revamp to become one of Ann Summers’ fantastic ‘new concept’ stores and in celebration of its thirtieth birthday in Soho.

PHA Media formalised an exciting new partnership with the Taylor Bennett Foundation this week by providing a crash course in agency life at the company’s Soho offices.

A group of PR trainees of the Taylor Bennett Foundation, which aims to address the need for greater ethnic diversity in the PR and communications industry, participated in a series of workshops and seminars.

Highlights included a presentation on the Role of Video Production in a PR campaign, given by PHA Media’s Head of Production David Brookes, and a brainstorm which threw up some interesting creative ideas for a current PHA Media client.

PHA Media Associate Director, Stuart Skinner, who helped to organise the partnership with the Taylor Bennett Foundation, said: “The students were a breath of fresh air their enthusiasm and knowledge was very impressive. I hope this is the start of a long and successful partnership between PHA and the Taylor Bennett Foundation and we expect to offer four-week internships to some of the students in the near future.”

Sarah Stimson, Course Director at Taylor Bennett, said: “We are delighted that PHA Media has joined the growing list of PR agencies to host a field trip for our interns.
